How to get Hibiscus to bloom
A Hibiscus in full radium bloom is one of the most beautiful things you can have in your home. And it is easy to keep them blooming. You just need make sure they have the sufficient amount of humidity they like.
You can keep a spray bottle by the plant and every time you walk by or at least once a day give them a little mist. That keeps the leafs healthy. But try not to mist the flowers too much, especially if you do it in the evening, because the dropping temperature at night could cause some fungal damage on the flowers.
Hibiscus are susceptible to aphids. They are infamous for getting aphids. You can spray the hibiscus with some insecticidal soap. Insecticidal soap is basically just a soap compound and it is safe for home use.
It is a good idea to keep your Hibiscus away from cold drafts, like a door or an open window in the winter and definitely hot dry drafts like a vent. Do that and your hibiscus should bloom beautifully. Fertilize a little bit with a high middle number like a 15-30-15.
